Katie is a large fancy filly, out of Lilly (Hearts are Wild) by Tug Hill Celebrity.  Show quality with tons of potential. She long lines well and has been started under saddle, and is beginning her show career.  At Mass Morgans 2009, she was 1st in 3-year old Hunter/Pleasure ridden by a junior exhibitor. It looks to me like Western, hunter or dressage will suit her well. Katie has been in training at the Amazeen Stables and is now learning dressage at Bradford Equ. Center. Katie’s half-sister, Owlwood Nascere Fortunato, was Reserve Champion Junior Hunter at Granite State Morgan this year and placed 4th at the New England Regional.  Katie has just as much potential and we anticipate a successful show career for her too.

Katie is an eye-catching bright bay with white LH coronet and RH pastern.  We expect her to mature to 15.2 or 15.3 hands.  With her large star, strip and snip, she is a standout in any crowd. Great personality; friendly and bold.

Katie has been doing beginner dressage at Bradford Equestrian Center with Keith Angstat.  At her first show intro B she was first out of six, with a 68 and high point of the show.  She continues her dressage training at Mary Howard’s Five Star Farm with one of Mary’s working students.
